So once again I fall victim to the clutches of sleep during mu Language class. It's the one class that me and Yoshi have together. So he woke me up after calling my name a few times. He asked me if I was planning to stay at school all weekend, and of course if I did that there might not be a school to go back to on monday. After that, I came REALLY close to having my cover blown.
Yoshi: You have been sleeping alot lately, are you okay?
Me, getting nervous: Oh no, it's nothing.
Yoshi, seeing right through me: Don't give me that.
So by now, I'm scrambling for an alibi to give him, since I have no idea how he's gonna react to Eliana.
Me: okay fine. I've staying up late....(Now I'm REALLY thinking hard, when I come to a brilliant solution.) ...Practicing for a go-kart race!
Okay, okay, not the greatest excuse but it was the only thing i could think of, so unless you have a better idea, I suggest you suck it up and read on.
Of course, he didn't buy it, but at least he chose to leave it alone. We walk home together ( he lives about three houses away from me) and I guess I looked depressed or somthing (not far from the truth) because next yoshi said, "Y'know you can tell me." Yikes. Not getting out of that one. He can always tell if I'm lying. If I lie to him now, he will think I don't trust him and his feelings will get hurt, not that he will admit it. So here it is:
I am going to tell Yoshi.
so here I am at home, waiting to go to the park where I'll be meeting Yoshi right before sunset. Let's hope Eliana does not kill him.
